The launch video
One film that has to do three jobs on launch day: stop the scroll, explain the product, and give people a reason to repost it. We make it, then we launch it on X with you.
What a startup launch video is for
A launch video is the asset your whole launch post hangs on. On X it plays muted in the feed, next to the copy you write, so it has to work with the sound off and without the context of your landing page.
The good ones pick a single idea. Devin was "the first AI software engineer". Antseed was "BitTorrent for AI inference". Everything in the cut serves that line.
How we build a product launch video
- The lineWe agree on the one sentence the video proves before anyone opens an editor.
- The first three secondsThe opening frame is written like a headline, because that frame is the only thing most of the feed sees.
- The proofReal product footage, captured clean, with AI used where it saves time: motion, voice, cleanup, variants.
- The cutsA hero cut for the launch post plus short cutdowns for replies, quote posts and the rest of launch week.
- The launchThe same team posts, times and amplifies it on X, so the video is designed for the place it will actually live.
App, SaaS and AI launch videos all follow the same rule
Whether it is an app launch video, a SaaS launch video or an AI model reveal, the viewer decides in the first seconds whether to keep watching. Show the product doing the thing. Save the logo for the end.

launch video: FAQ
How long should a launch video be?
Long enough to prove the one line and no longer. For most AI products that lands between 30 and 90 seconds for the hero cut, with shorter cutdowns around it. Our notes on length and specs for X go deeper.
Do you only make the video?
No. We make the video and launch it on X. That is the point of this site: the people cutting the film are the people who will post it.
Can we bring our own footage?
Yes. Screen recordings, founder clips and brand assets all help. Tell us what you have in the brief.
Roll camera.
Tell us what you are launching and when. We write back with an angle, a format and a plan for launching it on X.
