The demo video
The fastest way to make an AI product believable is to let people watch it work. A demo video is the product, on screen, doing one real task from start to finish.
What makes a product demo video work on X
AI demos get a skeptical audience. People assume the clip is sped up, cherry picked or staged. The best demo videos answer that directly: real time playback, an unedited take, the prompt shown on screen.
Figure opened on a card that said "film speed 1.0x". bolt.new started from an empty prompt box. Those choices are what made people trust what came next.
What we capture
- A clean environmentFresh account, tidy UI, readable text at phone size.
- One taskA single job the buyer recognizes, from blank state to result.
- Honest timingReal speed where it matters, clearly labeled cuts where it does not.
- CaptionsBurned in, because the feed is muted.
Demo video vs explainer video
A demo shows. An explainer tells. If your product is easy to see working, lead with a demo. If the value is invisible on screen (infrastructure, security, models), you probably need an explainer, or a demo with an explainer opening.

demo video: FAQ
Should a demo video have a voiceover?
Usually no for the X cut. Most viewers watch muted. Use captions and on screen text, and keep a voiced version for your site if you need one.
Can you make a demo of something not shipped yet?
We can show what really works today. We will not fake features, and an X audience is quick to catch it.
Roll camera.
Tell us what you are launching and when. We write back with an angle, a format and a plan for launching it on X.
